Program for: Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, and Somerset County families. Links pregnant people, parents, and caregivers with young children to free or low-cost family wellness resources (health insurance, doulas, medical providers and care, housing, child care, early childhood programs, home visits, etc.). Organization also has a wide range of services (including Monmouth and Ocean counties).

Place you can report a child being sexually exploited online. Staff at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children review each tip and work to find a potential location for the incident reported so that it may be made available to the appropriate law-enforcement agency for possible investigation.

After a report of child abuse or neglect is filed, DCP&P sends a case worker to the child's home to initiate the investigation. The case worker gathers information by speaking to you and members of your household. Case workers can also assist with basic needs, child and baby items, etc. *Every adult in NJ is a mandatory reporter. If someone knows of or suspects child abuse or neglect, they must report to DCPP at 1-877-652-2873 (can be fined otherwise).

Primary healthcare provider - services in English and Spanish

Free service - nurses will conduct home visits to support parents. They will assess the health of both the parents and the newborn and offer valuable information during this important transition. Covered areas can include feeding and sleeping tips, connecting parents to helpful resources in their community, or assisting families recovering from the tragedy of stillbirth. Services are available to birth, adoptive, and resource families with a newborn as well as parents experiencing a stillbirth or loss of their newborn.

Comfort Zone Camp serves children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, primary caregiver, or friend. All weekend sleepover camps are offered at no cost to families. This service through Catholic Charities provides shelter for 16 single women and 26 families. Services include temporary and emergency lodging, meals, assistance with housing, employment and children's educational placement, case management and referrals. While living in the shelter, program residents work with case managers to improve their earning capacity and obtain permanent housing.

For 24/7 intensive care for mental illness, substance use disorder, or both, Princeton House inpatient offers treatment for adults. They also offer intensive outpatient care for children (starting at 5th grade) and adults. Programs are between nine and 30 hours per week and may be offered in person at one of five locations, or via telehealth.
