Laundry Love is a ministry that serves around thirty local community members at Somerville Express Wash Laundry, 20 Division Street, Somerville. A representative of the ministry is at the laundromat every second and fourth Thursday at 5 p.m. to hand out pre-bagged supplies and $10 in quarters up to eight people per week. State Street Housing through Catholic Charities has 25 rooms with shared bathroom facilities. In addition, 27 studio apartments and three one-bedroom apartments are available for low-income singles and couples. Services include voluntary case management, linkage to community services, including employment services, life skills training and other support. The program is designed for individuals and couples without children.

Eligibility: Apartments are available to homeless or formerly homeless individuals who can provide verification of a disability. Income requirements include a minimum income of $17,400 and a maximum of $32,200 for the single occupancy apartments and a minimum of $22,000 and a maximum of $32,000 for the studio apartments.
