The Resource Directory is a partial list of the resources available in our community, and is meant to be a starting point to help you identify services and providers. Please note that Safe+Sound Somerset cannot vouch for any of these resources. Search websites, ask for recommendations from friends and peers, and call or email a potential service provider to decide whether or not something is the right fit for you.

Path Program at Richard Hall
Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH) provides case management services to people with mental illness who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness. The program works with Somerset County residents and links them to mental health, entitlements, and housing.
Personal Assistance Services Program (PASP)
Through Somerset County Office on Aging & Disability Services: assists those with permanent physical disabilities maintain their highest level of independence while remaining active in the community. PASP is designed to provide individuals 18 years of age or older with physical disabilities with choice, flexibility, control, and the opportunity to tailor their personal care services through a monthly budget.

Transportation updates, educational information on safe and environmentally-friendly travel. Also has BikeConnect program, which gives bikes to adults who need reliable transportation for employment.
SEEK Then SPEAK App
SEEK THEN SPEAK is a tool for sexual assault survivors and support people. In SEEK, you can privately gather information and explore your options for medical care, supportive services, and reporting to police. If you choose, you can even begin the process of reporting to police by completing a self-guided interview in SPEAK (in over 100 languages and with screen reading capabilities). SPEAK does not save any information you provide. All data are deleted following a report that is sent to you, to share with a counselor, law enforcement, etc. App created by End Violence Against Women International (EVAWI).
SHIP (Samaritan Homeless Interim Program)
Provides emergency shelter and rental assistance to homeless or near homeless individuals and their families who are unable to obtain assistance from government or other agencies.

Services for youth and families. By working effectively with schools, the Juvenile Justice System, and mental health and behavioral health providers, as well as advocating for family voice, choice and community support, CMOs help youth succeed at home, in school, and in the community.

Volunteers of America-Chance II
Eligibility: Apartments are available to homeless or formerly homeless individuals who can provide verification of a disability. Income requirements include a minimum income of $17,400 and a maximum of $32,200 for the single occupancy apartments and a minimum of $22,000 and a maximum of $32,000 for the studio apartments.
Webchat for Deaf and Hard of Hearing services – domestic and sexual violence
Web chat is 24/7. Can also request to work with a Deaf advocate or someone who speaks ASL - this is from Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. Website also has ASL videos on top bar about their services. DASACC is a domestic and sexual violence services organization providing free services and based out of Warren County, NJ.
