Early Intervention Support Services (EISS), funded by the New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) and available in all counties, is a short term, mental health service for adults who are experiencing significant emotional or psychiatric distress and are in need of immediate intervention. EISS offers crisis intervention and crisis stabilization services in a setting that is an alternative to hospital based emergency room treatment. Outreach (non-office based) services are available. While appointments are not required for initial visits, we strongly recommend contacting the provider in advance to ensure the best possible experience.

Free program offering at-home visit by specially trained nurses for any family caring for a newborn baby. Assistance with physical and emotional health of newborn and parents. Available to birth, adoptive, and resource families with newborns as well as those experiences stillbirth or loss. Free service - nurses will conduct home visits to support parents. They will assess the health of both the parents and the newborn and offer valuable information during this important transition. Laundry Love is a ministry that serves around thirty local community members at Somerville Express Wash Laundry, 20 Division Street, Somerville. A representative of the ministry is at the laundromat every second and fourth Thursday at 5 p.m. to hand out pre-bagged supplies and $10 in quarters up to eight people per week. The LifeTies Mentoring program pairs youth with trained volunteer mentors with the goal to provide the presence of caring adults for youth. Pairing youth with a mentor can support a path to a safe and healthy future. Through Center for Family Services. Services are available to support a variety of needs, including: -youth aged 10-21 (living in Mercer County) who are at-risk or have a minor offense in the juvenile justice system; -youth ages 10-21 in the LGBTQIA+ community; -youth aged 10-17 (living in Camden or Gloucester Counties) who lost a loved one to overdose or youth who have a loved one affected by substance use; -youth aged 10-17 living in Camden City; -youth in the Camden City School District (this opportunity is for school district staff).
