LGBTQ+ and Trans Teen Chatrooms

Our moderated chat rooms are for youth ages 19 and younger to talk in a safe space and be able to express themselves without fear of being judged (LGBTQ and separate room for transgender folks). ​You can discuss concerns, issues, talk about personal victories, or find a calm place to just hang out. All of you get to decide what these rooms are for, and all of you make this community. Operated by LGBT National Help Center.

LifeTies Mentoring for Youth (Mercer, Camden, or Gloucester County)

The LifeTies Mentoring program pairs youth with trained volunteer mentors with the goal to provide the presence of caring adults for youth. Pairing youth with a mentor can support a path to a safe and healthy future. Through Center for Family Services. Services are available to support a variety of needs, including: -youth aged 10-21 (living in Mercer County) who are at-risk or have a minor offense in the juvenile justice system; -youth ages 10-21 in the LGBTQIA+ community; -youth aged 10-17 (living in Camden or Gloucester Counties) who lost a loved one to overdose or youth who have a loved one affected by substance use; -youth aged 10-17 living in Camden City; -youth in the Camden City School District (this opportunity is for school district staff).
