Choices, Boundaries, and Consent: A New Framework Centering Non-Violence in Domestic Violence Education and Prevention
Safe+Sound Somerset’s new Choices, Boundaries, and Consent (CBC) Framework emerged from our community engagements and has reshaped how we talk about violence and non-violence. The CBC Framework is an intuitive and effective tool that:
- Makes it easier for people to understand domestic violence,
- Serves as a clear litmus test for identifying harmful and/or healthy relationship behaviors and understanding why they are harmful or healthy, and
- Provides a clear vision of what we are working towards in the prevention of domestic violence at an individual, community, and societal level.
