Impacting 1 in 3 women and 1 in 6 men, acts of stalking are targeted, purposeful, isolation, and can have terrifying impact on the lives of survivors. Stalking is also an important predictive factor for future violence perpetration, up to and including homicide.
In recognition of Stalking Awareness Month, Safe+Sound Somerset’s webinar will:
- Define and discuss stalking, its prevalence, and the impacts it has on stalking victims
- Outline the overlap between stalking and domestic and sexual violence
- Discuss ways to recognize stalking, support victims, and hold stalkers accountable
